I completed my Optometry degree in Boston and then moved back home to Toronto where I began my career as an Optometrist. In an effort to get away from the big city, I moved to Calgary in 2015 and have loved it here ever since. I enjoy getting to know my patients, learning about your specific visual needs and then tailoring my exam to best accommodate your expectations. I completed my Optometry degree in Waterloo, Ontario and then moved back to Calgary to start my career. Being born and raised in Calgary, I was eager to get back to my family, friends, and the mountains. In my spare time I like to read, travel, and spend time outdoors. I enjoy learning about my patients backgrounds - the diversity in Calgary always amazes me. I am eager to serve my patients in clinic and strive to help you meet all your visual needs.

DR. HARSHPREET BALLAGAN
Hello! I was raised in Calgary, Alberta, where I earned my undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Calgary. I then relocated to Arizona, where I completed my Doctor of Optometry degree at Midwestern University Arizona College of Optometry.
Throughout my education, I gained diverse clinical experiences in Arizona, California, and Las Vegas. My training included primary care, managing ocular disease, fitting specialty contact lenses, advanced dry eye treatments, and providing pre- and post-operative care, among other specialized areas.
My goal as an Optometrist is to connect with my patients on a deeper level, ensuring that you leave the clinic not only with a clear understanding of your ocular health but also feeling heard, cared for, and satisfied with your experience.
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking in the mountains, dancing, traveling, and spending quality time with my family and friends.
